Eugenia Evoyan was born in a small town of Artashat in Armenia. She started to read pretty early for her age and since very childhood had a special love towards books. Eugenia has always been a dreamer kind of girl, so the books were her best friends and keys into new worlds and parallel realities, which she just couldn’t get enough of.

That was pretty obvious that sooner or later she would start writing and creating her own worlds. Her first short stories and poems were created at the age of 15, but she had the courage to reveal her artist Self and show them to the world only in her 30-ies — by illustrating and publishing the book of her teen poems and fairy tales for kids.

Eugenia is also an artist and designer, so she enjoys illustrating the books herself, bringing more of author’s spirit and vision to the stories that she writes.

Today Eugenia lives in Canada with her husband and 4 amazing kids. It’s no surprise that her children are the most demanding readers and critics of her children’s books.

Eugenia works as a designer in her day-job, creates paintings and illustrations in the evenings, studies Eastern philosophies, writes whenever she has five minutes free and still remains a dreamer.
